Team Taekwondo Instructors

All black belts at Team Taekwondo are recognised world wide and our Team Instructors also hold blue cards and first aid certificates. Some instructors are also accredited as sparring coaches, referees and technical judges. What does this mean for you? It means quality instruction along with personal safety.

 

As well as external accreditations, instructors undergo special in-house training sessions once a month with the head instructor (David Vernon) to help keep their instructing consistent with the club. These training sessions benefit our members by delivering uniformed results and grading standards and avoids members becoming frustrated or confused by being shown different requirements. Instructors are encouraged to teach in their own way but through their training each instructor has a clear idea of the results and standards required when it comes to grading.
